TRUSTED AV SPECIALIST FOR SUCCESSFUL MAGICCON 2024 PRODUCTION
MagicCon: Amsterdam 2024 was a weekend-long celebration of Magic: The Gathering, hosted at the RAI Amsterdam. Thousands of fans, artists, cosplayers, and Magic creators gathered for a packed program of competitive tournaments, immersive experiences, exclusive merchandise, and live programming.
At the heart of the event were two key stages: one dedicated to live entertainment and panels, and another to global streaming, delivering high-quality content to fans worldwide. From mainstage moments to behind-the-scenes interactions, MagicCon blended fandom, gameplay, and storytelling into a truly multimedia event experience.
Our AV Specialist Contribution
The Bridge AV Group was proud to deliver the complete technical production for both the main entertainment stage and the international streaming stage at MagicCon: Amsterdam 2024. From concept through to execution, our team ensured that every detail — on-site and online — reflected the energy, creativity, and precision the Magic community expects.
Commissioned by PRG Netherlands and PRG UK, we deployed a full-scale solution designed for both live and global audiences. The scope included a staggering 150 DMX universes, driving over 200 lighting fixtures with full dynamic control. This complex system allowed for intricate lighting designs and precise integration with show content and live performances.
To deliver seamless sound across the venue, we installed more than 50 speaker enclosures, creating an immersive audio environment that supported everything from stage panels to cinematic show moments. A dedicated RF control network gave us command over wireless operations across the entire building — an essential feature in a tech-heavy, high-traffic environment like the RAI.
On the streaming side, we ran a full multi-camera broadcast setup, including 6 operated cameras and multiple PTZ units, delivering high-definition content to fans around the world in real time. To accelerate setup and maintain precision, we delivered the system fully pre-rigged, reducing build time and minimizing on-site friction.
